What does Disney’s magical world look like from the inside? What lies behind major productions? Young people from four residential care facilities found out during a special EduJourney to Disney Poland—a hands-on workshop delivered in cooperation with company employees as part of skills-based volunteering.
We kicked off an intensive workshop day with an icebreaker bringing together 17 young people and their carers from children’s homes, company volunteers, and members of our Foundation. The participants then explored the story of Walt Disney and his legacy, right through to every stage of preparing and promoting large-scale productions.
Brainstorms and group work helped everyone grasp just how complex film production and distribution can be—along with the competencies required across the many teams involved. In the second half of the workshop, the group learned what it takes to promote the latest theatrical releases.
After a packed learning session, it was time for a screening of Inside Out 2. It offered not only a moment to unwind, but also a fitting conclusion to the educational journey—from theory and practical exercises to the finished product on the big screen.
Participant feedback confirmed the EduJourney’s strong educational and inspirational value. As many as 89% rated the workshop delivery as clear and accessible, 73% were satisfied with taking part, and 72% would recommend the session to others. Post-workshop comments were short and enthusiastic: “It was great,” “Everything was awesome.”
The workshops at Disney showed the young participants that both soft and technical skills can be developed in engaging ways. They gave them inspiration for career choices and the conviction that dreams—even the big ones—are within reach.

Details regarding the implementation of online payments and the way in which payment operators execute them are determined by the regulations applied by the aforementioned payment operators.
In addition, from the service’s website, the user has the option of obtaining data for making a traditional bank transfer independently.
In justified cases, the Donor may file a complaint and demand a refund of the donated funds. The complaint should be submitted to the following address: biuro@fdi.org.pl, stating „complaint” in the subject line, and providing the reason and detailed transaction data. Each complaint will be considered individually by Fundacja Dobrych Inicjatyw within 14 days of receipt of the complaint.
Fundacja Dobrych Inicjatyw is a public benefit organization. Therefore, a donation made to Fundacja Dobrych Inicjatyw can be deducted when settling personal income tax for the given tax year, in accordance with applicable law – on the date of entry into force of these Regulations. All payments are expressed in Polish zloty (PLN).

During the process of donating, we process your personal data in order to manage donations and issue certificates for tax purposes. We may also contact you via the email address you provide, for example to thank you for your support.
